A Bit About Me

I'm David Williams. I'm a writer who likes to explore the gaps between the 1s and 0s.

As a fractional GTM consultant I help organizations bring narrative depth to their product marketing strategy, go-to-market motions, and content products - specializing in newsletters and original forms of micro-media. If I can help you with any of that, or anything else, please send me a note.

I write a newsletter called A Short Distance Ahead which is a week-by-week journey through the history of AI and humanity's evolving relationship with artificial minds. It is told through 75 weekly essays starting in June 2024 with the year 1950, and running through the end of 2025, marking the 75th Anniversary of Alan Turing's seminal paper, in which he first posed the question, "Can machines think?"

I occasionally write for The Philadelphia Citizen. Long ago I studied creative writing at The New School in New York City and playwriting at HB Studios. I've written television and film scripts and I am in the process of completing my first collection of short fiction.
